What Is a Work Plan?
A work plan is a legally binding document that we are required to draw up under the Swedish Minerals Act (Minerallagen) before we can begin exploration activities such as core drilling. The plan describes in detail what we will do, where the work will take place, the schedule, and how we will take into account landowners, residents and the natural environment.
Legal certainty and dialogue
The fact that the plan is formal and must be delivered to you as a landowner personally is an important matter of legal certainty. It ensures that you receive accurate information and that your statutory period for raising objections (normally three weeks) commences.
- Important to know: Confirming receipt of the work plan does not mean that you approve its content.
- Your opportunity to influence: The purpose is to give you full transparency and a chance to suggest adjustments so that we can carry out the work with the least possible disruption to, for example, forestry, hunting or local residents.
The work plan is our most important tool for creating open dialogue and a clear framework for responsible work in the field.
