What Are We Exploring For?

The main focus of our mineral exploration in the Vasa Mineral District is gold and silver. Today, these metals have a significance that extends far beyond jewelry and investments – they are critical components in:

• Medical equipment
• Advanced electronics
• Solar cell technology for a sustainable energy transition

A large proportion of the world’s gold is currently mined under very problematic conditions. Gold is classified as a conflict mineral under EU regulations, as it is often mined in conflict zones or under difficult human conditions and causes significant environmental damage.

Within our exploration permits, we are also searching for copper, which is the most critical metal for a successful green transition. By exploring the possibilities for extraction in Sweden, we are reducing our dependence on other countries and contributing to a more secure supply chain and a cleaner world – under strict Swedish environmental and labor laws.
