The Vasa Mineral District
The Vasa Mineral District covers an area of approximately 2,780 km² where modern exploration has never been conducted before.
We have chosen to focus on this particular area because its geology is unique in a Swedish context. It contains some of the world’s best-preserved volcanic, Paleoproterozoic rocks. These were formed in a geological environment that we know is very favorable from an ore perspective, but despite this potential, the area is a blank spot on the map when it comes to exploration. By applying modern exploration techniques, we hope to unlock the secrets of this unique environment.
