Stakeholder Information
Code of Conduct
Our operations are based on responsibility, expertise and respect for the environment and the people among whom we operate. To ensure sustainable exploration, we adhere to the following principles:
1. Compliance and ethics
We strictly follow the Swedish Minerals Act and Environmental Code. We act in accordance with Svemin’s ethical rules for exploration, which means conducting our work with high professionalism and good business practices at all levels.
2. Transparency and dialogue
We believe in early and transparent communication. We inform landowners, reindeer herding communities and other stakeholders about our plans well in advance. Our goal is to build long-term relationships by listening to local needs and adjusting our work to minimize disruptions.
3. Protection of water and the environment
We care about biodiversity and our water resources. In accordance with the EU Water Framework Directive and the Swedish Water Management Ordinance, we work proactively to prevent pollution. We ensure that our investigations do not impair the status of surface or groundwater through careful precautions at drilling sites.
4. Minimal impact in the field
In all fieldwork – from geological mapping to drilling – we strive to have the smallest possible footprint:
- We plan access roads and drilling sites to avoid soil damage.
- We use environmentally friendly machinery and chemicals.
- We carry out regular safety and environmental rounds according to established checklists.
5. Restoration and responsibility
When our work at a site is complete, we restore the land. It is our responsibility to leave the site in a condition that ensures we are always welcome back.
